Your donation to the FRIENDS OF WOODMEN HALL goes to renovation and upgrades to this building, which has hosted community events since 1900.

The building has been insulated, weatherproofed, rewired, and painted inside and out. It has two heat pumps. There are new sound and lighting systems for performances, a digital projector, screen and speakers for presentations. There is tableware and a dedicated refrigerator available for events. Behind the Hall we have added an ADA compliant exit ramp from the stage level. We have put up safer handrails. Outside we have upgraded the parking lot; and have added a split rail fence, a signboard, and picnic tables.

BIG PROJECT this year:

We just rewired the upstairs, insulated it and put in a heat pump. We are in the process of cleaning, repairing and replacing woodwork up there as well as painting the staircase and the large room upstairs. We have been collecting information about the history of the Hall for the last few years. We plan to display it upstairs. We will have docents lead small groups up there to view information and memories from our 122 year old Hall.
