The Friends of Woodmen Hall (FOWH) were formed in 2005 and became a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 2007. We are an all-volunteer organization; our members give of their time and talents to support our efforts at making the Hall accessible and welcoming to everyone in the Lopez community. We raise funds through memberships, donations, and grants. Please consider joining us in our work! Help by becoming a Board member. Volunteer your time, talent, and/or muscles to help with our fundraising events.
Mission Statement
To raise money and promote volunteer help for the renovation and continued availability of Woodmen Hall for the benefit of the entire community.
Purpose
The purpose of The Friends is educational and charitable and is to serve the various needs to renovate and sustain Woodmen Hall. It includes and is not limited to the following:
- Raising money for the preservation of Woodmen Hall.
- Informing the community about the history and uses of Woodmen Hall.
- Recruiting additional volunteers for The Friends.
